On the blossom festival Sunday, June 1, 1947 this building was inaugurated as the first homestead on Lunnabacken.

The loft in the higher part of the building, at the entrance, was built as a tenant dwelling on the earlier Major’s residence in Munkanäs.

The low cottage is from another place in Urshult. In the radio program Dagens eko (“Today’s echo”), was an interesting commentary from the festivities. 3.500 people visited the blossom festival that year.
