Map URÅSA CHURCH. The church in Uråsa is located 14.01 kilometers from Lunnabacken in north-northeasterly direction, 109° north latitude. The church building dates back to the 1100- or 1200's. During the 1500s and 1600s the Danish troops looted and burned the church, but the devastated church building was not left as a ruin. It was restored. In 1841 the tower was built. The tower was provided with a, for the time, typical lantern and tower clock.
